The Floor Plan:
The Ground Floor
The cottage has a private entrance off the courtyard that leads into a spacious, open plan kitchen with a large fireplace and working pizza oven. There is a picture window opposite the entrance with a fantastic view over the orchard, vineyard and pine forest making the kitchen a very light and agreeable space. The kitchen opens onto the living room through an arched opening and also has a staircase leading up to the first floor.
The living room is a bright room with large French windows that open out onto your private terrace and small garden. It is furnished with comfortable sofas, ideal for afternoon “siestas”!
One of the bedrooms is accessed from a small corridor off the living room. The bedroom is very spacious with a double bed (160x 200) and en-suite bathroom.
On the ground floor there is also a powder room and separate laundry room equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
The First Floor
The first floor is accessed by the staircase leading up from the kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms and toilets.
The Master Bedroom
With its cathedral ceiling and exposed beams, looks into the courtyard and has a large double bed (160 X 200). The room can very comfortably accommodate an extra single bed if necessary.
The “Kids Room”
This room has a great beam structure and a magnificent picture window overlooking the orchard, vineyard and pine forests. It has been created with kids in mind although it also works for adults! There are 4 single beds and ample space for an additional 2 beds. At the far end of the room there is an en-suite bathroom and toilet.
The Terrace and Garden
Chardonnay has its own enclosed private terrace and garden that is either accessed from the living room or from the path behind the cottage. The garden faces North, providing a little reprieve from the hot summer sun. There is an outdoor eating area with a barbeque and the deck chairs provide another great alternative for an afternoon siesta!
When you rent Chardonnay you have access to all the facilities on the domaine including:

- And 115 hectares of vineyards and forests to explore!

The price of the rental includes all linens, towels and house cleaning at the end of your stay. We can arrange for more house cleaning on request. |
