Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality during our stay at Château Canet. The accommodation was wonderfully appointment, clean and comfortable and worth every penny we paid. The children had a wonderful time with all the other children and were kept busy from first light until bedtime. We all enjoyed the Cellar Tour and were very impressed by the quality of the Wine, Olives and Olive Oil.
Irma and Jim had a holiday which they will cherish and remember for the rest of their lives. Thank you for your concern for and attention to Irma, you made them feel very special.
Canet is perfectly positioned to explore the region. Promote your bike hire more, it is the best way to see all the little villages and burn off some of the calories.
Thank you for the fresh apricots, the complimentary Rosé, the guest soaps , the maps and brochures and most importantly for your time in helping us find our way around without getting mauled by a million tourists.
We tried a bit of our French but were so glad you could speak English!
Merci – we would recommend Chateau Canet very highly
Regards
Tom and Kieran Beeton
Travelling to France from Canada with 3 young children for a family vacation was somewhat ambitious and a bit daunting. However, as we wound our way through the vineyards arriving at the beautiful tree-lined drive to Chateau Canet, we knew right away that we had made the right choice. Chateau Canet is a glorious find away from the congestion of the major tourist attractions of the region but close enough for quick daytime excursions. Many days we just wanted to enjoy the beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms at the Chateau. Our children were never happier than when picking baskets of fruit from the orchards or splashing in the pool until dinnertime. The low-key hospitality of our hosts allowed us to enjoy a relaxing holiday with no set schedule other than our own. The history and culture of the region is so rich that we are returning to Canet again this year. This could become an annual excursion!
